Responsibilities:

  • Support prep tasks such as washing, chopping, portioning, and labelling.
  • Assist with cold or hot station under guidance from store team.
  • Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen during busy service hours.
  • Step in to support staff meal prep, cleaning, and closing routines.
  • Follow standard kitchen SOPs and adapt quickly to different store environments.
  • Maintain professionalism, hygiene, and teamwork at all locations.
  • Report shift highlights or issues to Area Manager after each deployment.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months – 1 year of kitchen experience. Experience in food prep and kitchen support is preferred.
  • Basic culinary techniques – basic cooking methods, assisting mise en place, assisting in food preparation.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene – understanding of HACCP basics, personal hygiene and workstation cleanliness, proper food storage and handling (FIFO) is advantageous.
  • Completing tasks on time.
  • Working efficiently under pressure; following instructions and keeping pace during service.
  • Good attitude toward teamwork and cleanliness.
  • Taking directions from CDP, Sous Chef, and Head Chef.
  • Flexible and reliable; able to adapt quickly to different kitchen teams.
  • Willingness to rotate across different stations: Tiong Bahru, Telok Ayer, Neil Road, East Coast.
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Certificate in Commercial Cooking or Kitchen Management is advantageous.
  • WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate.
