We're looking for a solid cook to join our kitchen at Malthouse, a neighbourhood bar and western kitchen on East Coast Road.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and executing our western kitchen menu — burgers, mains, share plates, and Sunday roast
- Working grill, fryer, pizza and flat-top stations with confidence
- Keeping prep levels consistent and mise en place clean
- Maintaining food quality and plating standards during service
- Following food hygiene and safety practices as a matter of course
What we're looking for
- At least 1–2 years of kitchen experience, ideally in a western or casual dining setting
- Someone who can hold their own during a busy service without needing their hand held
- Reliable, punctual, and a decent team player
- Experience with grill work and burger assembly is a plus
- Singaporeans, PR, LTVP, Malaysian or other WP all welcome
What to expect
Shift-based work across dinner service on weekdays and lunch and dinner at weekends. Weekends are part of the deal. We're a small team, so everyone pitches in.
