Singapore Chef Jobs

-

Chef roles in Singapore run from Commis and Chef de Partie through to Sous Chef, Head Chef, and Executive Chef, across hotel kitchens, restaurant groups, private dining, and central production kitchens.

Above Chef de Partie the job shifts from cooking to running a section — rostering, ordering, food cost, and training juniors. No coins, no boosts, no paywalls — every listing here is free to browse and apply to.

What qualifications do chefs need?

There is no licensing requirement to work as a chef in Singapore. WSQ and ITE culinary certifications help at junior levels, but demonstrated section experience carries more weight for Chef de Partie and above.

What's the progression path?

The usual ladder runs Commis, Demi Chef, Chef de Partie, Junior Sous, Sous Chef, then Head or Executive Chef. Time at each level varies by kitchen size and whether you move between employers.
