About the Role

At Four Seasons Nashville, our Bar Back plays a key role in supporting exceptional bar and restaurant service. This position ensures our bar team is fully stocked, our spaces are clean and prepared, and our guests receive seamless, anticipatory service throughout their dining experience.

What You Will Do

  • Promptly clear, clean, and reset tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware in a discreet and efficient manner.
  • Anticipate guest needs, confirm satisfaction, and respond urgently and professionally to guest concerns or requests.
  • Pick up food items from the kitchen, verify accuracy and presentation, and deliver to guests.
  • Stock side stations with linens, china, glassware, silverware, paper goods, and other supplies.
  • Replenish bar requisitions including beer, liquor, soda, juices, garnishes, and ice for bartenders.
  • Break down, clean, and re-set side stations and back-of-house areas.
  • Follow Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers, leadership, and other departments.
  • Prepare garnishes, assist with wine/beer selections and glassware, and help with guest water service as needed.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or a luxury environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift moderate weights and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong guest service skills with a positive, team‑focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
