We are looking for a Chef de Partie (3rd Chopper) to join our team!

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute all chopping and cutting duties according to brand standards, portion sizes, and production schedules.
  • Ensure knife work is precise, consistent, and aligned with Shangri‑La presentation guidelines.
  • Support Chefs in coordinating prep tasks and station readiness before each service.
  • Maintain strict food hygiene practices including labelling, storage, and FIFO procedures.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow during peak operations.
  • Uphold HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with other sections to support smooth kitchen operations when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of chopping area, tools, and equipment

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a professional kitchen; experience in a chopper/prep role preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in knife skills and handling of various produce and proteins.
  • Understanding of food hygiene, HACCP practices, and safe food handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
