Part-Time Cook

Malthouse is a casual neighbourhood bar and Western kitchen in Siglap. We're a small, close-knit crew — we keep things relaxed and fun, but we take looking after our guests seriously.

We're looking for an experienced part-time cook to join the kitchen. You'll be working a Western menu in a compact kitchen alongside a small team, so we're after someone who can hold their own on a station and keep a cool head when the floor fills up.

What you'll be doing

• Running your station through service — prep, cook, plate
• Daily mise en place and prep ahead of service
• Keeping to our recipes and presentation standards
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
• Helping with deliveries, stock rotation and closing down

What we're looking for

• Previous kitchen experience — no particular level required, but you should be comfortable cooking on your own
• Western kitchen experience is a plus
• Reliable, tidy, and able to work at pace on a busy night

Shifts

Mostly evenings on weekdays, with afternoon shifts available on weekends.

Pay

$14–$15 per hour, depending on experience.
