Job Summary

Join Ministry of Crab Dempsey as an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead operations, train staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, upscale seafood dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise restaurant staff, including servers and hosts, to deliver efficient and exceptional service
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance team performance and service quality
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote teamwork and staff engagement
• Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control
• Monitor and enforce high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the restaurant
• Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and licensing requirements
• Greet guests warmly and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction
• Deliver outstanding customer service to create memorable dining experiences
• Collect and analyze customer feedback regularly to implement service improvements
• Handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain smooth operations
• Operate reservation and point-of-sale systems proficiently to support service efficiency
• Maintain attention to detail with a focus on quality and operational efficiency
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience in upscale dining environments
• In-depth wine knowledge and passion for customer satisfaction
• Strong hospitality, leadership, and team management skills
• Excellent communication skills
