Barista Jobs

-

Barista roles in Singapore sit across specialty coffee bars, café chains, hotel lobby lounges, and bakery cafés — combining espresso extraction and milk texturing with counter service, till handling, and keeping the bar clean through back-to-back orders.

Specialty independents hire for palate and coffee interest and train on their own equipment; larger chains hire in volume to a fixed standard. Full-time barista roles on Good Shift typically advertise S$2,300 to S$3,000 a month, and part-time shifts S$10 to S$15 an hour (live listings, November 2026). Every listing here is free to browse and apply to.

Do I need barista training or certification?

No formal certification is required in Singapore. SCA courses and prior bar experience help at specialty venues, but many cafés and chains hire without experience and train in-house.

Are part-time barista shifts common?

Yes. Cafés frequently advertise weekend and shift-based part-time roles, which are among the more accessible entry points into F&B.

Are there other café jobs besides barista?

Yes. Cafés also hire counter and service crew, kitchen assistants and bakers. Browse service crew jobs or part-time F&B jobs for more café shifts.
