Job Description
Assist the Head Chef and senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing food items.
Learn and follow recipes, cooking techniques, and food presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
Assist with stock checking, inventory management, and kitchen organisation.
Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Job Requirements
Passionate about cooking and interested in developing a career as a professional chef.
No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Willing to learn new cooking techniques and follow instructions.
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
Responsible, hardworking, and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices will be an advantage.
