We are looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented and energetic Waiters / Waitresses (Food & Beverage Service Associates) to join our growing team. The ideal candidates should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Dining Experience

• Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.

• Escort guests to their tables and present food and beverage menus.

• Explain menu items, daily specials and promotions, and provide recommendations.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.

• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining professional service standards.

• Check on guests during their dining experience to ensure satisfaction.

• Handle guest requests, enquiries and feedback courteously and efficiently.

• Assist with billing, payment collection and processing transactions.

Restaurant Operations

• Prepare and maintain dining areas before, during and after service.

• Ensure proper table settings, cleanliness and presentation standards.

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to accommodate incoming guests.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking service stations.

• Maintain proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware and restaurant equipment.

• Support smooth restaurant operations during peak dining periods.

Food & Beverage Knowledge

• Develop a good understanding of ALORE's food menu, cocktails, wines, beers and other beverages.

• Recommend suitable food and beverage pairings based on guest preferences.

• Promote signature dishes, beverages and ongoing promotions.

• Practise appropriate upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales.

• Be aware of common food allergens and communicate dietary requirements accurately to the kitchen.

Events & Entertainment Support

• Assist with service during live music performances, DJ nights, private parties and corporate events.

• Support table arrangements and venue preparation for special events.

• Maintain efficient service standards in a lively, fast-paced entertainment environment.

• Coordinate with the restaurant and bar teams to ensure smooth guest experiences during events.

Hygiene, Safety & Teamwork

• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene and professional appearance.

• Follow applicable food safety, sanitation and workplace safety requirements.

• Comply with company service standards and operating procedures.

• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient daily operations.

• Participate in staff training and contribute to continuous service improvements.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.

• Fresh candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly, approachable and customer-service-oriented personality.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverages will be an advantage.
