Job Summary

Upon successful completion and performance review, ASPIRER may be placed into a junior leadership role.

Job Responsibilities

Security Operations

  • Monitor assigned zones and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections of guest areas and heart-of-house facilities.
  • Check access control points and verify credentials for restricted areas.
  • Record and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or safety hazards.
  • Support team in supervising Security Team Members in specific roles and responsibilities in Security operations.
  • Respond swiftly to incidents, assist investigations, and uphold security standards.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining vigilance.
  • Implement emergency procedures and support crisis response.
  • Take on special assignments that broaden your operational expertise.
  • Supervise the implementation of emergency procedures as outlined in the relevant Emergency Manual.

Event Security and Special Operations

  • Represent Security at pre-event planning meetings for conferences and entertainment events.
  • Assist in resource planning, site inspection and walks, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Support contingency planning and cost management for events.
  • Ensure smooth handover and flawless execution during live operations.

Security Operations Control

  • Support daily operations in the Control Room — the nerve center of security.
  • Monitor security systems and ensure accurate, real-time reporting.
  • Vet incident reports and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external agencies for coordinated responses.
  • Maintain serviceability of control room equipment and ensure confidentiality of CCTV data.
  • Analyze irregular, suspicious, or illegal activities and escalate appropriately.
  • Assist in safe evacuation procedures during emergencies.
  • Uphold professionalism in all communications — radio, phone, and digital.
  • Take on special assignments to strengthen operational excellence.

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

  • Support the development and execution of Crisis Management and BCM strategies.
  • Maintain and update BCM dashboards and documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors on implementing BCM technology solutions.
  • Assist in drafting emergency response plans and continuity frameworks.
  • Organize and participate in drills and exercises with internal teams and government agencies.
  • Provide research and analysis on security trends and risk factors.
  • Manage project documentation and support end-to-end project delivery.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Diploma or Degree undergraduate in your final year of study in any discipline; or a recent graduate

Experience

  • Less than 2 years of working experience

Programme Sponsorship and Compliance Requirements

For the first six months of attachment to Security Operations, ASPIRER will be required to:

  • Apply for the Special Employee License from the Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA).

  • Complete mandatory training modules to obtain the Security Officer License.

Additionally, ASPIRER will be sponsored to attain the following certifications, essential for compliance and operational readiness:

1. Police Regulatory Department (PRD) Security Officer License

2. Business Continuity Certified Professional
