Kitchen Crew – Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.

• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, seafood, and sauces.

• Assist with cooking and food assembly according to the restaurant’s standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.

• Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.

• Check and store food ingredients properly.

• Assist with receiving and organizing food supplies.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

• Support the kitchen team during busy periods.

• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Supervisor.

Requirements:

• No formal qualifications required; relevant kitchen experience is an advantage.

• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn.

• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

• Experience in a restaurant, food court, café, or catering kitchen will be an advantage.
