Job Summary

You will sell chocolate bars, confectionery, and pastries while preparing simple beverages. You will maintain a clean and stocked counter and drink station, engage with customers to provide friendly service, and work a 6-hour evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Sell chocolate bars, confectionery, and pastries to customers, ensuring accurate transactions and product knowledge
• Prepare simple hot chocolate and coffee-adjacent beverages following basic preparation steps
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and drink station to ensure a welcoming environment
• Engage customers in friendly, clear communication to assist with product choices and enhance their experience
• Stand and perform duties effectively during a 6-hour evening shift

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English to interact with customers and team members
• Physical stamina to stand continuously for a 6-hour shift

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Positive attitude toward learning and openness to feedback for continuous improvement in role

• Schedule: 6 days per week, 3pm–9pm
• Type: Full-time / evening shift
• On-the-job training provided to learn product knowledge beyond scripted responses
• Work environment: Small, family-run operation, not a corporate counter
