Senior Cook & F&B Operations Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations and ensure smooth service.

• Supervise, train, and evaluate full-time and part-time employees.

• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and operational productivity.

• Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and customer satisfaction.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues independently.

• Manage inventory, stock ordering, food costs, and wastage control.

• Prepare daily sales reports and monitor operational performance.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety and hygiene requirements.

• Assist management in improving operational efficiency and profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in F&B cook and operations, preferably in cafés, restaurants, or dessert establishments.

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the F&B industry.

• Proven experience in staff scheduling, inventory management, cost control, and daily sales reporting.

• Strong command of spoken and written English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and POS systems.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

• Good understanding of Singapore food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.

• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Relevant food safety certification is an advantage.
