Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development, execution, and dissemination of market deliverables, including performance analyses, patron activity assessments, monthly marketing performance overviews, and additional deliverables as may be requested.

  • Work closely with MBS Casino Analytics team to support LVSI and MBS sales, partnerships and market development efforts with full scale analytics and production reporting.

  • Manage the creation, maintenance and enhancement process related to automated business reporting that is regularly provided to our sales and marketing teams and present key data insights in informative and relevant ways such as through the use of dashboards.

  • Build and maintain thorough knowledge of existing databases with insights into the most efficient way to access data across the organization.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify business needs/questions that could benefit from further analysis and informed data-driven decision making; provide advice and guidance on where/how analytics could be used to create value.

  • Track sales team incentives and key performance indicators, monitor customer reinvestment strategies to improve segment profitability and assess the effectiveness of sales strategies in the business segment.

  • Responsible for presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Responsible for working effectively and collaboratively with all MBS, SCL, and Corporate Team Members as necessary.

  • Support the Executive Management of Global Gaming with additional responsibilities as required.

  • Execute special projects as assigned by senior management.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year institution majoring in business, finance, accounting, marketing, economics or a related field is preferred

Experience

  • At least 5 years of prior experience as a business analyst or corporate analyst is preferred.
  • Knowledge of casino and/or hospitality industries is a strong plus.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset with a strong understanding of key marketing and database management

Competencies

  • Must have strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel/MS PowerPoint/ MS Word and experience working with complex databases. Understanding of SAS/SPPS (or similar) and VBA is desirable.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication and PowerPoint presentation skills; the ability to create clear and concise presentations for Executive Management is critical.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with team members in a professional, respectful manner.
  • Periodic travel may be required.
  • Must be self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results.
