Kitchen Assistant

Key Job Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist cooks or chefs with chopping, cutting, and basic ingredient prep.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Wash dishes, clean utensils, wipe down workstations, and manage kitchen waste.
• Inventory & Supplies: Receive, organize, and properly store stocks and ingredients.
• Safety & Hygiene: Follow standard food hygiene guidelines and maintain kitchen workstations clean, working areas clean.
• Front-of-House (Cashiering & Sales): Operate the POS system, handle cash/cashless transactions, take orders accurately, and upsell food
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, introduce daily specials, and handle general inquiries.

Common Job Requirements

• Experience: Require no prior experience (on-the-job training provided), while others prefer basic kitchen or F&B background.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
