MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (Food Services Store Manager)
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Food Services Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our F&B outlet. The successful candidate will lead the outlet team, maintain high standards of food quality, service and cleanliness, and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the outlet.
* Lead, supervise and motivate service crew to ensure smooth operations.
* Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower deployment.
* Train and guide new and existing employees on operational procedures and service standards.
* Ensure food quality, presentation and service standards are consistently maintained.
* Monitor outlet cleanliness, food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
* Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety requirements and regulatory requirements.
* Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering and replenishment of supplies.
* Control food wastage, operating expenses and manpower costs.
* Monitor daily sales and work towards achieving outlet sales and operational targets.
* Ensure proper cash handling, POS procedures and daily closing procedures.
* Conduct regular checks on equipment and outlet facilities and report maintenance issues promptly.
* Work closely with management and other departments to resolve operational matters.
* Provide regular updates on outlet performance, staffing and operational issues.
* Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in F&B operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
* Strong leadership and people-management skills.
* Good communication and customer-service skills.
* Hands-on and able to work in a fast-paced F&B environment.
* Able to manage staff, operational issues and customer situations independently.
* Good understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety practices.
* Basic knowledge of inventory, cost control and outlet sales management.
* Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays according to operational requirements.
* Food Safety Course certification would be an advantage.
